How Long do I have to wait until I get access to my server?
Once payment is received, your account will be set up usually within 24 hours.
You will need to change name servers for your domain with your domain registrar to ns1.mandlnet.co.uk and ns2.mandlnet.co.uk to take full advantage of your service. It usually takes up to 48 hours for the change of name servers to propagate through the internet. In the mean time you will be able to access your server via the information sent to you in your welcome e-mail.
Is there a minimum term contract?
No. You are billed monthly, to cancel your subscription use the ticket system accessed via your account.
Can I host adult material?
Short answer yes..... HOWEVER.... The material must be legal and not copyrighted by anyone other than you. (For legal clarification UK and US laws apply).
Please understand that we take this VERY seriously and anyone found to be breaking these rules will be reported to the relevant authorities and have their account terminated immediately and without refund. (Please see terms and conditions for further information).
Also remember adult material attracts a lot of traffic so choose your hosting package carefully to avoid running out of bandwidth.
Can I host warez?
No. Anyone using their account for illegal activities will be reported to the relevant authorities and have their account terminated immediately and without refund. (Please see terms and conditions for further information).
Can I use my account to send spam?
No. Absolutely not. Mandlnet has a very strict anti-spam policy highlighted in the terms and conditions and acceptable usage policy. Anyone using our servers for the purpose of sending unsolicited e-mail will have their account terminated without warning and will be held responsible for any fines/charges that mandlnet incur.
Can I use my account to send mass solicited e-mail?
Yes. Provided recipients e-mail addresses have been collected legitimately, and recipients were provided with an opt in/out clause.
Can I re-sell your accounts?
Yes, and you can charge whatever price you desire, However, Mandlnet will not provide any support for third party users. You will be responsible for providing support to your users directly.
Will you transfer my domain for me?
No, unfortunately we can not perform this task for you, that said, we will be happy to help in any way we can should any problems arise.
I do not currently have a domain, can I still register?
Yes, when asked for the domain name you wish to host as a part of the signup process, simply enter "none" (without the quotes).
I do not currently have a domain name, can you recommend a registrar?
Yes, we recommend 123-reg for all domain registrations. Our experience is that they provide an excellent service combined with an easy to use administration interface that makes the process of changing name servers as painless as possible.
